Roulette's 30th Anniversary Season.
This year, we're presenting over 100 artists at nearly 100 shows.
Since 1978, our ongoing purpose has been to provide opportunities for
innovative composers, musicians, sound artists and interdisciplinary
collaborators to present their work in accessible, appropriate and
professional productions. We work to encourage creative, innovative
activity as it emerges by supporting work by young and emerging
artists as well as by established innovators.
We invite you to join us in celebrating our 30 years of Experimental
and Adventurous Music by becoming a Roulette Member. Your continued
support is essential to the ongoing life of our programs. Supporting
Roulette with a $75 membership allows you free entry to all concerts
on our Series of Experimental and Adventurous Music for one year.

Roulette's Core Programs
Concert Series of Experimental and Adventurous Music: Our artists
represent an extremely broad range of disciplines and backgrounds, a
large percentage perform their own work and nearly all events feature
world premieres. We support artists long before they are recognized by
mainstream funding and commissioning programs, and provide audiences
with a consistent survey of contemporary work in a wide variety of
modalities.
The Festival of Mixology, Roulette's annual spring festival focuses on
new and unusual uses of technology in music. The work we present work
that builds upon the interactivity of sound and image, through such
programs as MAX, JITTER, and LISA, and goes beyond the prescribed
frameworks of the software to explore the possibilities of technical
and artistic improvisation.
Roulette's website broadcasts recordings of our concerts which are
accessed by listeners all over the world.
We offer artists cheap rehearsal and performing space, and high
quality recording facilities. |
