Is anybody else having this problem? (That concluding equal sign looks
suspicious to me.)

I received the same error message, and like you, after trying on two
different computers with two different operating systems. I assume the
real problem is that we are both attempting to access the file from an
IP address outside the UK.

Would someone living in the UK kindly record the programme and post it
for us foreigners?

By the way, as most of you are surely aware, Kathinka sent out an
email two days ago with a link to the programme. I wonder if she can
access it in Kürten.

I have been listening to "Hear and Now" on the web from Seattle for
several years, both real-time and via the "Listen Again" function, and
this has never happened before to me. Besides, for UK-only webcasts,
the BBC have a specific message saying it is unavailable to IP
addresses outside the UK (this was the case for the 40-minute "forum"
briefly available on the Radio 3 site). The error message in the
present case was generated by the RealPlayer plugin, installed on two
different browsers each on two different computers. I have notified
the "Hear and Now" website people, whose FAQ does not yet acknowledge
this particular fault, but indicates this is not the first time this
sort of thing has happened.

In the meantime, Philip Tagney (one of the producers of Hear and Now)
has replied to my email, saying got the same error message in London.
He passed on the information to the boffins, who say it should now be
fixed.

Here you find my recording of the programma itself, in one mp3-file, nearly
90 minutes. Between the music there is some comment.
After the programma I heard an announcement about a discussion that wasn't
broadcasted, but could be downloaded from the bbc-site. I didn't find it
there.

Many, many thanks! Although the problem is claimed to be solved, I am
still getting the same error message. It is comforting to know there
are good souls like yourself out there willing to help when the
technology goes bad!

Thanks a lot from all us foreigners!

I'm a foreigner too (Holland), but saw the reminder to the broadcasting in
this group just in time to program my recording. I didn't have time yet to
split it up, but I wouldn't let you wait any longer.
Btw: the link on the site doesn't work here either.

Jerry Kohl-

Hi,

Although I live in France, I had no problem to the listening and
recording of the BBC program.
I can also provide a copy if anyone needs one. Contact me off list.

Best regards.

Many thanks for offering, but after I reported to Philip Tagney that
the repair had not worked, he asked the technicians to try again, and
the link now works, although even while I am listening to the
programme the iPlayer screen displays the discouraging message "This
content doesn't seem to be working. Try again later".

I only got to hear "Urantia" once while it was up online.
Any plans to record it? Future broadcasts? People who recorded the
broadcast?
I want to hear it again. Thanks. -jimj
