Lotsa new dates. See Pollstar. Looks like I'll be planning a visit to Nashville
in November. Love the Ryman.

Not coming to the Twin Cities and I don't think I'll make Alpine Valley
since I dont' like Dave Matthews. I'm sure they'll eventually come here,
they'll probably tour well into '09.

I'm sure they will. It's the only way to pay the bills, these days.

Are you going to the STP show there in your area?

I haven't bought a ticket yet, I saw STP in '00 at the same place and it
was a good show but I don't think the setlist will be much different and
the price is a lot higher. I may eventually go, I'd like to see what
they are doign first and I don't think it will sell out.

Really, at the Roy Wilkins? I've been there, and its not a very big place at
all. I thought tickets were in the $40 range, which doesn't seem much at all by
current standards. Then again, they probably only ased $20 a ticket in the mid
90's.

At their official site, you can vote for the setlist for each show. Don't know
yet how this will get put into practice, but they let you pick 20 songs for each
show, and it shows the top 15 vote getters. I think thats a pretty cool idea if
it causes some lesser known songs to get into the set. They're playing the AT&T
Center here, which seems a bit too big (it's where Metallica, Van Halen, The
Police, Rolling Stones played), but I'd be shocked if they weren't able to fill
Roy Wilkins.

I hadn't even looked at prices but I saw on message boards it was $45-70
range. I will probabyl check it out if they are changing sets.

When were you at Roy Wilkins? Yeah it only holds maybe 5,000 or so but I
just don't think the demand for STP is that high, maybe I'm wrong.

Does it hold that many? I flew up there to see Bowie in 1997.

I looked it up on their site and it says 3600 seats in the balcony and
can have 1500 seats on the floor or GA can hold 2200 on the floor. Still
one of my favorite shows ever I saw there, Crowes opening the US leg of
the Amorica tour 3-3-95.

Pollstar just added an 8/30/08 St. Paul show - Minnesota State Fair.

Oh god they are doing the Fair. That place is too big for them but it is
outdoors so that could be cool. Looks like I'll be checking them out
there, I know it will most likely be a greatest hits set but oh well I
guess its better than nothing.
