I recorded this but haven't watched yet. I caught the tail end of it on a
rebroadcast, and was shocked to see it was a brand new session. I thought this
was going to be the one they did in the 90's, but it was brand new with Luther
and Adam in the group. All I saw was the end of Wiser Time, a short interview
part, and then the band started doing Sting Me, but the credits rolled and they
cut off after 30 seconds. Very annoying. |

Yeah, it was a new thing with the current lineup. The set was:
Sting Me
Goodbye Daughters Of The Revolution
Walk Believer Walk
Soul Singing
Locust Street
Wiser Time.
I think that was the whole thing. There were short interview parts with Chris
between each of the songs. Hopefully somebody will put out a dvd sourced from
the Hi-Def broadcast.
Crowes were also on Leno tonight, and did Goodbye Daughters Of The Revolution.
They sounded great. I hope they make more appearances on the late night circuit,
and getting on SNL would be cool. GBDOTR is a good song to play, as its catchy
and might even make a few new fans. |
