I think its the Voodoo Festival with Rage Against the Machine, Smashing

That'd be a cool show. I'm seeing Pumpkins in Nashville next month. Never got to
see Rage.

They've still got tour dates through early November. Don't know if they are then
done for the year or what. Actually, I think the album is done being recorded.
Not sure if there are still some things that need Chris/Rich's attention or not.
Maybe the touring isn't holding up the album, but whoever they are signed with
just wants to release it on some schedule for some reason. I think last date I
heard was February 2008. Not sure what they're waiting for... |

I think the album is done. I've actually got tix to see the Crowes this
month, I think its next week, I'm not even sure when it is and to be
honest I'm not even that excited about it anymore. |

I know how you feel. I've gotten a bit bored of them the past year. Too much
touring, and though they still play a lot of different songs, there are great
ones they never seem to touch while totally wearing out songs like Wiser Time.
And I just can't understand why there is so little new material played.
They came to Austin a few months ago, and I skipped it cause I hate the venue,
but after seeing the set, I wish I had gone. Looks like it would have been way
better than the Austin show I went to the previous summer. |

I really dig Don't Do It as an opener. Does Rich do the lead vocal part that
Marc Ford had been doing when they played this in the past? |
