I'm so very happy to announce:
If you happen to take a glance at the discography at bjork.com, more
precisely located at http://unit.bjork.com/77island/, you'll find that
the pre-solo section finally has had a major upgrade! At the moment
there are minor bugs, but I think you'll appreciate the extended
contents of the pages containing the early era ('77), Tappi
Tíkarrass, Kukl and especially the Sugurcubes, which I'm sure many of
you missed at the time of the great reunion already half a year ago
now (how time flies..). I certainly did, so I wrote Oliver Fritsch,
who normally takes care of the discography, and we actually ended up
making a small team dividing the tasks among us - I will do the the
early stuff (as did Lina in the old days) and Oliver the later solo-
parts. Which has been even easier to coordinate as Oli has moved to
the very same town in which I work. But he's very busy at the moment,
so I promised I would make this little announcement about the update.
Which this text will submit.
An additional update, containing some of the latest releases, will
emerge quite soon when Oli's got the time to do so, I also promised to
mention. As he put it; 'really soon, coming stepwise and progressive'.
When you browse the content, you'll notice that images/scans of some
releases are absent, and you might even find releases missing. We have
used every information and ressources at our reach, but of course if
you happen to have additional knowledge - or are able to supply some
of the missing illustrations, we'd sure be happy to hear from you!
Enjoy!
