It doesn't sound like Steven Tyler. Tyler's voice is raspy and the singer
on "Dream On" has a clear voice. So it is definitely not Tyler. |

Okay, two options here. Option one: this a troll. In that option,
fuck you.
Option two: you are an idiot (which could also apply to above, but I
digress)
In the case of option two, I suppose that you haven't listened to the
rest of their first (yes, first) album. If you do, you will find that
Tyler's voice was much less raspy 32 years ago, long before a lifetime
of cigarettes, cocaine, and alcohol abuse. Amazing, isn't it?

The number of Aerosmith songs where Tyler didn't sing lead can be counted
on one hand.
-"Combination" (from "Rocks")
-"Walk On Down" (from "Get A Grip")
If there are any others besides that, it's news to me.

First of all, it was Tyler. Everybody but you seems to figure out this
simple fact. In concert, Tyler, to this day, uses both his raspy voice
and his "early Aerosmith voice", depending on the song and his mood.
Want proof? Listen to "Train Kept A-Rollin" on their latest live
record, "Rockin' The Joint". There's the voice you hear on "Dream On".
Case fucking closed.
As for another singer whose voice has really changed - JAMES HETFIELD.
Listen to Metallica's debut album and then listen to Load and ReLoad
and then tell me that he sounds the same as he did when he started. |

Look at Van Halen. David Lee Roth sounded like DLR then in 1985 his
voice change so drastically he suddenly sounded like Sammy Hagar |
